Booked & Beyond collects the minimum needed to run the site. There is no account system, no login and no profile — the only personal data we hold at all is an email address, and only if you choose to give us one for the newsletter.
Our analytics is cookieless. We use a privacy-focused tool that records aggregate page views and referrers and does not set a cookie, does not use a device fingerprint and does not build a cross-site profile. It cannot identify you, which is why the site does not ask you to consent to it.
When you follow a booking link, the partner — for example Booking.com, GetYourGuide or Viator — will normally set their own cookie so any resulting booking is credited to us. That happens on their domain, under their privacy policy rather than ours, and it starts only once you click. We never see your booking details and never receive your payment information. Newsletter data is used only to send the newsletter. It is stored with our email provider, it is never sold, rented or shared, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email us and we will action it within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
